The man arrested for allegedly ramming a train in the Noida area has been identified as Noahide police.
The 39-year-old man from Allahabad was arrested on Tuesday.
His name is not being released because of his age, police said.
Police said the man was seen on CCTV entering a vehicle and then speeding towards a train.
He then crashed into a bench on the tracks and smashed the rear of the train.
The train was left partially derailed.
Noahide Police Commissioner Ramesh Sharma said police were looking for the man who had been seen running in the area.
