On Monday, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) released the list of cyber threats to the airline industry.
The list includes a list of all threats, from ransomware to “zero-day” exploits.
“There’s been an incredible surge of threats targeting airline and travel companies since the beginning of the year,” the FAA said in a statement.
“We are working hard to help our passengers and employees stay safe and secure, but we cannot guarantee that every threat is eliminated.”
The list of threats is not exhaustive, and the FAA is asking airlines to make sure they are monitoring and taking action against potential threats.
The FAA also said it is working with security vendors to identify any new cyber threats, including those that could be used to compromise aircraft.
Airlines are also being urged to update their software to prevent any potential attack.
