It’s a busy summer.
For the first time, the number of law schools open to applicants from across the country will increase to 3,700, from 3,200 last year.
As of Tuesday, 1,724 schools were open, down from 1,934 in May, and the total number of students in the United States is expected to reach 3.2 million by 2021, according to the American Bar Association.
The number of new hires is expected also to jump.
The total number hired by law schools has been steadily rising since 2012.
According to data released by the Association of American Law Schools, from 2010 through 2014, law schools hired 2.3 million students, up from 1.5 million in 2010 and 0.9 million in 2013.
There’s a good chance you’ll find a job in law school if you’re interested in the subject.
The American Bar Assn.
reports that a law degree is a good predictor of future employment.
Law schools that are looking for students who want to work in a legal profession tend to hire candidates with a bachelor’s degree.
A graduate degree is also an advantage.
As for the employment numbers, law degrees can increase a student’s likelihood of getting hired.
In a study released in 2016, the University of Chicago Law School found that a first-year law student with a law bachelor’s or master’s degree had a 33% higher likelihood of landing a job as an assistant, clerk or attorney.
That study found that graduates with at least a bachelor degree had an 85% higher chance of getting a job with a big law firm, a 30% higher rate of getting paid for legal services, and a 31% higher percentage of employment.
The same study, however, found that an associate degree was a better predictor of employment prospects.
But if you don’t have a degree, your odds of getting into a big firm are even better.
As the University and the University at Buffalo Law School recently found, an associate’s degree is not only the best predictor of job placement, it is also the most valuable.
“There is no doubt that associate’s and master’s degrees are an invaluable asset in the legal profession, but there are significant economic and educational benefits to both a law education and a law job,” said the study, which examined the economic and job opportunities for law students.
For example, a law student from a law-focused school with strong alumni networks can earn a job after just three years in the profession.
The University at the Buffalo study found graduates of a law major can earn $1.6 million more per year after graduating from law school.
But a law graduate with a master’s can earn more than $2.4 million more after working at a law firm for seven years.
The law school that has the best job prospects, however?
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where graduates of law school who earn an associate or master degree can expect to earn $8,600 more after graduation than students who did not earn a degree.
The research shows that students who are first-generation immigrants from Latin America or South Asia who attend law schools with strong law school alumni networks have higher earnings, the report says.
This is because law schools have to compete with other colleges and universities for alumni networks.
“The best place to learn law is in the best place,” said Richard Rothstein, a professor of education at the University.
“If you have the most experienced students, the best law school is one where the graduates have the best connections.”
The best place for a student to learn about the profession?
Law students are increasingly interested in studying law in a bar setting.
According, the U.S. Department of Justice reported that more than two-thirds of all U. S. employers are considering hiring for positions in law schools.
But that doesn’t mean that law school students are all set to be the next legal professionals.
According the American Association of Bar Association, the demand for legal education is expected and rising.
“Law students are also entering into a competitive environment where employers are seeking candidates who have prior legal experience,” said Alan L. Krumholz, the association’s president.
He said that is why many schools are seeking applicants with a Bachelor of Arts or Master of Science degree, rather than a bachelor of science degree.
In other words, if you want to get a job, you have to be prepared to do so as a graduate of a big, law firm.
